Lucy Ann (Krueger) Masters

Lucy Ann Masters, age 72, of Mankato, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. She was born on April 8, 1953, in Mankato to Clarence and Lavola (Miller) Krueger.

Lucy graduated from Lake Crystal High School and, on March 6, 1971, married her high school sweetheart, Lee Alan Masters. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and dedication to one another. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her loved ones first and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

She worked as a manager at Subway and later as an overnight stocker at Walmart, where her strong work ethic and kind spirit were deeply appreciated by colleagues and customers alike.

Lucy had a vibrant personality and many passions. She enjoyed puzzle books, baking, cooking, and scenic drives. She loved watching marching bands in parades, trying her luck at the casino, and cheering on her favorite team—the Green Bay Packers. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Lucy's joyful presence and magnetic personality endeared her to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee; her brothers, John and Duane Krueger; and her parents, Clarence and Lavola Krueger.

Lucy is survived by her children: Jon (Nicole) Masters of Madelia, Eric Masters of Mankato, Carrissa Masters of Mankato, and Cassandra (Brandon) Postel of New Ulm; as well as her cherished grandchildren: Trever, Rose, Blake, Mitchel, Ryan, Mason, Madeline, and Zachary. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Shelter #4 in Sibley Park, Mankato, Minnesota.
