Marian C. Ruschmeyer, age 95 of Mankato, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with Rev. Adam Matheny officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.

Marian was born July 11, 1930 to George & Ruth (Matteson) Schaffenberg in Mankato, MN. Marian graduated from Mankato High School. She worked as a waitress/hostess at several local restaurants before meeting and marrying Herman Ruschmeyer. They married at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato and made their home on Davis Street. Marian stayed home to care for their children Daniel, Dean and Diana. Marian was involved in VFW Post #950 Ladies Auxiliary and numerous church organizations.
Marian is survived by her children, Daniel (Melissa) Ruschmeyer of Eagle Lake, Dean (Heather) Ruschmeyer of Janesville, Diana Ruschmeyer (John Randolph) of Kasota; grandchildren, John (Skylar) Sullivan, Carson Ruschmeyer, Brady Ruschmeyer (Kayley Ruedy), Logan Ruschmeyer (Anna Schramm), Tate Ruschmeyer, Brianna Soules (Prince Kruah), Brooke Soules, Chase, Ruschmeyer, and Caleb Ruschmeyer; great-grandchildren, Jace, Lainey, Kyrie, Maverick and Remie; many nieces and nephews.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Ruschmeyer (1990); sisters, Virginia Seigars & husband Dexter, and Peggy Jensen & husband Ken; Brothers & sisters-in-laws, Arthur & Alica Freyholtz, Milton & Viola Ruschmeyer, Merril & Elvira Ernst, Willmar & Virgine Ruschmeyer, Ernest & Valeria Evenson, Roland Ruschmeyer, Melroy Ruschmeyer, Orley & Marion Buboltz.
