Marion C. Fumich, 94, passed away on April 18, 2026 at The Pillars of Mankato, Minnesota. Born in Milwaukee, WI to Cecil and Mae (Elliott) Tatreau on October 18, 1931. She graduated from West Milwaukee High School in 1950. She was a life-long employee of Allis Chalmers where she was a teletypist and administrative assistant. She married Frank Fumich on June 10, 1972 in West Allis, WI. They lived in Muskego, WI until they retired, then moved to Greeley CO where Marion lived until 2021.
Marion and Frank found great joy traveling throughout the United States and beyond. Many of their travels were in their RV enjoying fishing trips and visiting family and friends. Marion and Frank hosted many out-of-town visitors, sharing the beauty of the Rockies with day trips and picnics. They were a pillar of their neighborhood, hosting many social gatherings. Marion’s hobbies included gardening, canning, fishing, winemaking, baking, card games of all types, and entertaining. When visiting, she never came empty-handed, always bringing delicious homemade treats, including her famous wine. She was a dog lover and spoiled her West Highland White terriers, Codie and Scottie. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley CO. After moving to The Pillars of Mankato, she enjoyed bingo, going out to eat, going to Moondogs baseball games, Zoom bible studies, and watching western movies and The Voice.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Frank, parents, brothers Bill, John, Dennis and Jim Tatreau, sisters Ann Leupold and Pat Gerstman, nephews Kirk Leupold and Carl Tatreau, niece Jill Lewandowski, great-nieces Victoria Tatreau, LeAnne Ginglen, and Laurie Ginglen, and great-great niece Ari Price.
She is survived by sister-in-law Betty Tatreau, nieces and nephews Pam (Bill) Tatreau, Lesley Ginglen, Lori (Gregg) Panek, Keith Leupold, Ed (Pat) Price, Rick (Tammy) Gerstman, David (Karen) Gerstman, Gail (Rick) Dauss, Dan (Colleen) Tatreau, Sandra Bruski, Mike (Julie) Tatreau, Mark (Shelly) Tatreau, Jeff (Sary) Tatreau, and Renee (Scott) Gleitz, Gloria (Ed) Robinson, Duane (Liz) Torgerson, several great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends in Greeley CO including Sharon and Butch Cropper, Joan and Jim Klug, and Vickey and David Sprague.
