Marlene Maye Farrell

Our beautiful mother, Marlene Maye Farrell of North Mankato passed away at the age of 77 on February 15th, 2025.  Marlene was born on November 23, 1947 growing up in Minneapolis, MN lived in Savage and moved to North Mankato 10 years ago with her cat Billy and dog Howie, to be close to her daughter.

She is survived by her three children; son Thomas (Carrie) Farrell and their children, Riley, Michael and Emily, daughter Tamera Farrell and her children, Kyle (Crystal) Logan and Nathan, son Robert (Greta Johnson) Farrell and his children, Gavin, Mason and Cameron; former daughter-in-law, Carly Hirsch.  Marlene also leaves behind her beloved cat, Petra.

Although they never married, Larry Smith, a Vietnam Vet and my mother had 30 years together and had known each other as childhood friends.

Marlene will be deeply missed.
