Mary Ann Voss, age 85 of Mankato Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home on Dublin Court.

Private graveside services will be held. The Voss family invites you to a Celebration of Mary Ann’s Life on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Morson-Ario VFW Post #9713 1900 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements. woodlandhillsfh.com

Mary Ann Voss was born on Feb 6, 1937 to Oscar and Joy (Haunches) Hamson of Bricelyn Minnesota. Mary Ann graduated from Bricelyn High School in 1955. She worked at Bemis in Mankato for over 30 years.  Shortly after retirement in 1999, she moved to Glencoe Minnesota where she lived with her life partner, Albert Stuedemann after his passing in 2017, she moved back to Mankato. Mary Ann enjoyed her daily walks, word searches, working on puzzles, watching her favorite shows, visiting her favorite eateries in town, and spending time with friends and family. Mary Ann loved telling stories, never went anywhere without making a new friend.  She left us all with so many great memories, full of love and laughter and will forever hold a special place in our heart.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald Hamson of Bricelyn MN; Sons, Scott Voss (Renata) of Littleton CO and Joel Voss (Betty) of Mankato MN; Grandchildren, Jeremiah Voss of Mankato MN, Karl and Kevin Voss of Littleton CO, Zach, Maranda and Hanna Wright of Mankato MN, Kassondra Kopischle of Mankato, MN; and 2 great grandchildren.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Joy Hamson; brothers, Ernie and Glen Hamson of Wells MN; sisters, Bessy Barnick of Wells MN and Betty Fredricks of Millington, Il.
