Michael Louis Roozen, 65, Mankato, died Monday March 24, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Rochester. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at a later date. woodlandhillsfh.com
Mike was born March 10, 1960 to Thomas and Nylah (Wiegert) Roozen in Mankato. On October 4, 1980 he was united in marriage to Sheila Belle Knutson in Mankato. Mike worked at Kato Engineering for 22 years and then worked as a landscaper and lawncare for 14 years. In his free time he enjoyed nature, walking in the woods, canoeing, landscaping, fishing, hanging in the garage, coffee, loved campfires, swimming, softball, bowling, darts., and spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his father, Thomas Roozen; wife, Sheila Roozen; daughters, Crystal (John) Bartsch and Cassandra Roozen; grandson, Brandon Bartsch; brother, Daniel (Renee) Roozen; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nylah Wenzel; step father, Loren Wenzel; and step mother, Diana Roozen.
