Nancy Lee Beutz, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on September 18th, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on March 20th, 1943, in Springfield, MN to Verna and Vincent Grausam, Nancy lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication.
On September 12th, 1964, Nancy married the love of her life, James Beutz, and together they raised three children, Jean, Susan, and Paul, in Mankato, MN. Nancy was a devoted employee at the School Sisters of Notre Dame for 28 years, where she formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories with the sisters and her colleagues. Her faith was unwavering, and her love for her family was unconditional. Nancy's creativity and passion for sewing brought joy to those around her.
Nancy is survived by her three children: Jean Knowles (Tim) of Belton, TX, Susan Quame (Dan) of Yankton, SD, and Paul Beutz (Lynn) of Eau Claire, WI; seven grandchildren: Melissa (Billy) Salter, Michael Knowles, Molly (Will) Hobbs, Derek (Kelsey) Quame, Drew (Elizabeth) Quame, Emily (Dixon) Petska, and Anthony Beutz; and seven great-grandchildren: William, Jackson, and Luke Salter, Wesley Quame, Bridger Quame, and Rowyn Petska.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Vincent and Verna Grausam; her sister, Audrey Veenstra; and her devoted husband, James Beutz.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. In memory of Nancy's life and legacy, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Research Center https://give.mayoclinic.org
