Nancy Parkins, 69, died on Sunday, January 28, 2024, of complications from pneumonia at Memorial University Medical Center in Savanah, Georgia. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am Friday July, 19th 2024 at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Immediately followed by a Celebration of Nancy’s Life at the Wow Zone for food and fellowship with the family.
Nancy was born January 12, 1955, in Mankato, Minnesota, the daughter of Orvis and Marilyn Juliar. She graduated from St. Clair High School. She married Randy Parkins in 1975. They had three children, Jonathan, Ben and Abbie. They were a military family and moved around and settled in Savannah, GA in 1993. They later divorced. On February 22, 2003, Nancy married David Reese and they stayed in her beloved community of Savannah. Nancy enjoyed her career with Publix and her many co-workers.
In addition to her husband, Nancy leaves behind her mother, Marilyn Juliar of Minnetonka, MN; son, Ben (Becky) Parkins of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Abbie (Drew) Cutrell of Huntsville, AL; and her beloved grandchildren, Rachel Gibson, Lucas Parkins and Silas Cutrell; brother, Steve Juliar of Bozeman, MT; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Parkins; father, Orvis Juliar; and sister, Barbara A. Robideaux.
