Norma Deno, 93, died Thursday, May 29, 2025 at The Moments in Lakeville. Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. woodlandhillsfh.com
Norma was born October 21, 1931 in Jessenland Township in Sibley County to Luger and Grace (Frazer) LeMire. She graduated from Henderson High School. On April 23, 1952 she was united in marriage to Clarence Deno at the Church of St. Thomas in Jessenland. Norma was a wonderful loving wife and mother. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, puzzles, and playing cards.
She is survived by husband, Clarence Deno of North Mankato; daughters, Carol Miller of Apple Valley and Barbara (Kevin) Wels of Nicollet; grandchildren, Laura Miller, Grace Thomas, Amy (David) Englehard, and James Thomas; great grandchildren, Natasha Oeltjenbruns, Ella Thomas, Brady Thomas, Maddie Thomas, Jasper Thomas, Simon Engelhard, and Levi Engelhard; great great granddaughter, Victoria Willis; and many relatives and friends.
Norma is preceded in death by two brothers (Ervin and Everett LeMire); four sisters (Marcella Malz, Lucille Salfer, Margaret Cutkosky, and Ida Haefner); son in-law, Dale Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
