Patricia C. “Pat” Tolzmann, age 81 of Eagle Lake, passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake with Fr. Robert Schneider, Celebrant. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.
Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of services at the church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is handling arrangements.
Patricia Carol was born on May 1, 1940 to Harold and Elizabeth (DeVlaeminck) Devens in Mankato, MN. She attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Mankato. On July 9, 1956 she was united in marriage to Roger A. Tolzmann in Mason City, Iowa. Pat and Roger raised their family in Eagle Lake where she was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother. Over the years she was employed by various restaurants in Mankato and Eagle Lake as a cook and waitress. Pat enjoyed playing bingo, game shows, and was an avid Viking fan. She loved time spent with her family especially her children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son, Mark Tolzmann (special friend Jennifer Thomas) of Eagle Lake; daughters, Tamela (Larry Guentzel) Tolzmann of Two Harbors, Roxann (Scott) Johnson of North Mankato, Laurie (Scott) Hunter of Orange, CA; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Devens of FL, Harold (Monica) Devens of CA, William Devens of AZ; sisters, JoAnn Dorn of OR, Judy Ovalle of CA, Debbra Jents of CA, Pamela (Jim) Norton of CA, Christine Devens of CA; brother-in-law, Eric (Connie) Tolzmann of St. Paul; sister-in-law, Marlys (Bill) Snelson of Mankato; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends, Dawn Bolhuis, Joan Bowe, and Gary Hansen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger in 2020; 2 infant grandsons; sisters, Sharon Quinehan, Caroline Devens; 1 sister-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law.
