Patricia J. “Pat” Will age 87 of Mankato, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elysian, with Pastor Kristian Bjornstad officiating. Interment will be in Eagle Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of services at the church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is handling arrangements.

Pat was born on March 2, 1935 to Wesley and Bess (Rogers) Duncan in Blue Earth, Minnesota. She was baptized into the name and family of God as a child, and grew up in Blue Earth. Her family then moved to Mankato where she attended Mankato Public Schools. Pat married Wayne Will in Blue Earth on June 28, 1952. She was employed at the Free Press Stationary Store for several years until 1971, when she was recruited to operate the Madison Lake Times newspaper when her husband was appointed Postmaster in that city. The couple had purchased the paper in 1960 and they published the times until 1991 when it was sold. Pat was a member and past president of the Madison Lake Legion Auxiliary and more recently was a member of the Elysian Auxiliary. She was also a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elysian where she worshiped her Lord and Savior Jesus. She enjoyed reading, doing craft work, Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Kenneth) Mead of Mankato, Laurie (Russell) Born of Janesville, and Thomas (Julie) Will of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Ryan Born, Kristin Ziemke, Josh Will, Tom Will II, Kim Will; great-grandchildren, Emma Born, Stella Ziemke, Louis Ziemke, Blake Born, Julia Ziemke, Kyra Will, Zoey Will, and Russell Will; daughter-in-law, Lisa Will of Le Sueur; many  nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne in 2008; son, John; sister, Ada Mae Ashley; brothers, Roger Duncan, and William Duncan.
