Patsy Rolfson

Patsy Rolfson, 90, of Brainerd, formerly of Mankato, died Wednesday April 24, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd.  Memorial services will be held 11am Monday May 6th at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.  Interment will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  woodlandhillsfh.com

Patsy was born March 31, 1934 in Webster City, IA to Albert and Dorothy Arndt (Buzick).  She attended school in Rapidan.  On March 21, 1956 she was united in marriage to Edward C. Rolfson in Webster City, IA.  She retired from Midwest Electric.  In her free time Patsy loved to bake, fish, spend time with her family, watching old westerns, and listening to country music.  One of her favorite places was the Dam Store in Rapidan which her parents once owned. 

She is survived by her sons, Edward Jr. of Merrifield, Mark of Mankato, and Greg of Brainerd; daughter, Laurie (Scott) Schubbe of Backus; sisters, Nancy (Joe) Mason and Alberta (Jim) Nusser; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. 

Patsy's preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Ed Rolfson Sr; son, Doug Rolfson; daughter, Barbara Sontag; and sisters, Connie Birr and Doreen Arndt.
