Rodney B. “Jeep” Lowe, age 82 of St. Clair, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with Pastor Jay Dahlvang, officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Following the Interment the Lowe family invites everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Morson-Ario-Strand Post #950 1900 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato, MN 56001

Jeep was born to Patricia and Lavern Lowe on October 12 1941. He married Diane (Kraus) on July 22, 1968 and together they raised four children. Jeep was a painter by trade and worked for Reichel and Sons of Mankato and then moved onto the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center where he retired from in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, going to country western concerts, and spending winters in Arizona and loved, gambling in Laughlin and Las Vegas. He was a member of the Morson- Ario-Strand Post #950.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lowe of St. Clair; sons, Rodney Lowe from Mankato and David Lowe of St. Clair; daughters, Christine of North Mankato and Dorine Smith (Bob) from New Richland; 5 grandchildren Jessica, Lindsey, Burch, Kimberly, Chistopher, and Andrea; He had 3 great- grandchildren, and 3 bonus grandchildren, Brie, Mike, And Lexi Sheehy; brother, Billy Lowe (Jan); sister, Kay Daufenbach; many nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Vern Lowe; son, Tony; brothers, Larry and Marty; sisters, Bea and Jane.
