Roger John Oachs

Roger John Oachs, 65, North Mankato, died Sunday June 14, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester.  A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Roger was born March 4, 1961, in Mankato to Alfred and Janet (Rooney) Oachs. He attended Mankato West High School and spent his career as a construction worker. In his free time, he was an avid handyman who enjoyed golf and fishing.  He was married to Lisa Gieser in 1997. 

He is survived by his mother, Janet Oachs; his sons, Jared Oachs and Christopher Oachs; and his grandchildren, Gavyn, Jared Jr., Audrey, Walter, Draven, Bailey, Charlotte, and Caroline. He is also survived by his brothers, Rick Oachs, Rodney (Doreen) Oachs, and Tim (Jean) Oachs; his sisters, LuAnn (Dale) Bandel, Loretta (Richard) Chatleain, Sherry (Mark) Hoernemann, and Jane Stenzel; and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Oachs; his brother, Larry; and Lisa Gieser.
