Ronald E. “Ron” Robb, age 83 of Mankato, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Pathstone Living in Mankato.
Funeral service will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Pastor Joseph Naumann officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park at a later date.

Ron was born May 29th, 1940 in Mankato to Earl and Ardella Robb. He first attended school in Mankato and then in Nicollet. At Nicollet High School he met the love of his life Katie, his wife of 66 years. Ron started his working career at Dotson Co. before pursuing his passion for fishing. His family owned and operated the Bobber Shop for many years, and was especially know for their fly-in Canadian fishing trips. Many affectionately referred to Ron as the Big Bobber. Ron was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Ron is survived by his wife, Katie; his son, Steve (Mary Ann); brother, Tom (Jan) Robb; sisters, Dianne (Larry) Henderson, and Margaret (Brian) Wombold; by many nieces, nephews, cousins; and fishing friends.
Ron is preceded in death by his brother, Myron; and grandson, Jack.
