Sharon Marie “Shari” Albrecht, age 82 of Nicollet, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato.

A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1-4 P.M. at the Mankato Eagles Club Aerie #269 708 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001. Private interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with the arrangements. www.woodlandhillsfh.com

Sharon Marie “Shari” Albrecht was born on May 1, 1942 to Max F. and Marcella (Schnobrich) Miklas in New Ulm, Minnesota. She attended New Ulm Schools. On October 15, 1963 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Albrecht at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nicollet. Shari and Robert raised their family in the Nicollet area, and for many years she was employed by Shari Candies in Mankato. She enjoyed going out to lunch with her Tuesday group, loved her porcelain doll collection, playing search the word, and dancing. Shari especially loved time spent with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Don (Lisa) Richards of Mankato, Robert Albrecht Jr. of Nicollet, Terry (Jeana) Richards of Lynn Grove, IA, Joel (Tina) Albrecht of Mankato; daughters, Tammi Wills of Mankato, Brenda (Don) Albrecht of Eagle Lake, Lori (Brian) Nemitz of Mankato, Jolene (Troy) Roeker of New Richland; many grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 2019; 2 brothers; 1 sister.
