Tammy Jo Mason

Tammy Jo Mason, age 59, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.  Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2024 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Mankato.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato is handling arrangements.

Tammy was born March 4, 1964 in Mankato, MN to William and Nancy (Arndt) Mason. She served in the US Army and Army Reserves for 16 years and worked as a recreational therapist for Shakopee Woman’s Prison for 6 years. Tammy loved animals and raised goats, chickens, wallabies, dogs, and cats.  She was a member of St. Peter American Legion Post #37.

Tammy is survived by her parents, Bill and Nancy Mason and 1 brother, Joseph Mason.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Kimberly Dawn Mason and Staci Anderson.
