Tamra Jean Reich-Lentz

Tamra Jean Reich-Lentz, age 75, of Waseca, died Friday, April 5, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday afternoon April 12, 2024 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato. Burial will be private at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

  Tamra was born August 19, 1948 in Waseca to Donald and Ordella (Freitag) Bennett. She worked at School District 77 in Mankato for over 35 years as a Para Assistant for Special Education and then went on to work at MRCI for several years. Tamra had a real passion for working in Special Education and many of the students she worked with at the school she worked with at MRCI as well.  She married Richard Lentz February 13, 1988. Tamra enjoyed fishing, gardening, quilting, antiquing, time spent at the cabin but especially time spent with family and friends.

  Tamra is survived by her husband Richard; daughter, Donell Reich of Mankato; son, Jason Case-Lentz (Cory) of Good Thunder; and extended family. She was proceeded in death by her parents; step father, Robert Scholljegerdes; and son Brian Reich.
