Timothy Ray “Blackie” Black, age 63, passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2026 at his home. The family invites you to join them in the celebration of his life on February 21st at 3:00pm at the Morson Ario Strand VFW, 1900 N Riverfront Dr., Mankato Mn. Tim along with his twin sister, Tammy were born August 13, 1962 in Mankato, MN to Raymond and Madeline (Youell). He grew up an attended school in Mankato. He was united in marriage to Angie Lindquist and the couple later divorced.
Tim liked being outdoors bike riding, tinkering on cars, fishing, hunting deer and pheasant. He enjoyed playing cribbage and rolling dice and helping out his family and friends whenever he could.
Tim is survived by daughters, Melissa Lindquist and special friend, Dan Fleming of Elysian; Danielle Lindquist and special friend, Andy Neal of St. Peter; grandchildren: Holden, Kendra, Mason, Wesley, Keelan Angel; his special friend, Denise Anderson; sisters: Lynn Ragan of Mankato, Mary Lukken of Kelso, WA, Judy Black of St. Clair, Sue Suess (Ron) of Judson, MN, Barb Wersal (Greg) of Eagle Lake, MN, Peggy Black ( Curt Torgerson) of Mankato, Deb Olson of Mankato, Tammy DeWitte (Brian) of Mankato, Kim Black (Rob Schwartz) of Kelso, WA; close friends, Sammy Larson and Kelly Moch; many nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Brandon Hoffman, brothers Ray, TJ and Willy.
