Todd James Smith

Mankato resident Todd James Smith, age 49, died Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his home.  A Celebration of Todd's Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Todd was born July 23, 1972 in Mankato to Steven and Connie (Weeding) Smith.  Todd will be remembered for his quick wit and ease to entertain with his many life stories and adventures.  His best memories were spent riding his Harley with all his brothers while he lived in Colorado.  Todd had a very creative mind and loved to sketch and even spent time creating rings from spoons and forks.  He was employed at Midwest Knife Makers where he learned to craft knives and work with leather cutting, stitching and dying sheaves for various styles of knives.

Todd is survived by his mother, Connie Smith of Mankato; 1 brother, Tim (Colette) Smith of Mankato; many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Steve; grandparents, Ed and Gladys Weeding and Inez Steinke.
