Wanda Lou Sargent, 64, Mankato, died peacefully at home surrounded by family Tuesday February 11, 2025. Private services will be held.
Wanda was born January 8, 1961 to Merlyn and Eleanor (Garver) Nelson in Mankato. She enjoyed the residents of Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center, where she worked as a Dietary Aide. In her free time, she loved to crochet, Diamond Art, and travel. She enjoyed time with family and her three puppies.
She is survived by mother, Eleanor Flores of Mankato; children Angel (Heron) Honetschlager, Amanda Honetschlager, and Aaron Honetschlager all of Mankato; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Joel) Fedder of Colorado; Destiny (Ryan) Palmquist of Mankato; Riley and Pablo Honetschlager, Isabelle Joel all of Mankato; expected great granddaughter, Blakely Palmquist; brothers, Mark Nelson of Mankato; Jon Nelson of Mankato, and Enrique Flores of California; sisters, Rhonda Nelson of Mapleton and Angelique Cox of Texas; nieces and nephews, Amber (Dan) Nelson, Adam (Rachel) Nelson, Corey (Annabell) Collmann, and Nick Nelson all of Mapleton.
She is preceded in death by John and Florella Garver, Art Honetschlager, Merlyn Nelson, Terry Sargent, and Bentley Palmquist.
