   Yvonne P. “Vonnie” Redning, age 80 of Mapleton, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at her home.

  Services will be held at a later date. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements.

  Vonnie was born on July 4, 1941 to John G. and Helen J. (Tuma) David in Montgomery, Minnesota. She graduated from Montgomery High School. On May 14, 1966 she was united in marriage to Alden “Al” Redning in Montgomery. After their marriage they lived in St. Peter and raised their family. During this time she made generators for Onan. In 1998 Vonnie and Al moved to Mapleton. Vonnie enjoyed going to casinos, gardening, and crafting. She especially loved time spent with her family and grandchildren.

  She is survived by her husband Al Redning of Mapleton; her children, Lonnie (Lori) Redning of Ennis, TX, Lynne (Mike Hoffman) Redning of Palm Springs, CA, Lee (Heather Behr) Redning of Good Thunder; 3 grandchildren, Callee, Audrey, and Dalton; 4 sisters, Betty (Paskell) Nichols of Corsicana, TX, Carol (Steve) Hadac of Hastings, Nancy (Chuck) Turek of La Valle, WI, Ruth David of Corsicana, TX; by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glenn David.
