Rhett Morse, 53, of Lake Crystal, MN died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato.  

Rhett was born November 6, 1963 in Mankato, MN to Jeffry and Karen (Ward) Morse.  He attended school in Lake Crystal, graduating from Lake Crystal High School.  On February 14, 1992 he was united in marriage to Stephanie Monta (Brown) in St. Peter, MN.  He worked for Judson Valley Ice Company, drove truck for a year, and in 1985 he started working for the city of North Mankato where he was currently a street foreman.  Rhett liked woodworking, refinishing furniture, riding motorcycles, crossword puzzles and especially being outside with his animals.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his parents, Jeffry and Karen Morse of rural Lake Crystal; brother, Kurt Morse of Atwater, MN; sister, Terri (John) Anderson of rural Lake Crystal; nieces and nephews, Alex and Casey Lloyd, Kayla (Cody) Peterson, Abby Monson, Cole Morse, Amanda, Sara, Ben (Lacy) and Rebecca Anderson; his aunt, Sharon Ward; several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister-in-law, Wendy Morse.
