Patricia A. Gieser, 88, Blue Earth, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth.   Private family services will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be at Sherburn Cemetery in Sherburn, MN.  

Patricia was born May 20, 1930 in Fairmont to Walter and Eleanor (Bryce) Lockner.  She graduated from Fairmont High School and then went on to attend DeLyle’s Beauty School in Fairmont.  After school Patricia ran Pat’s Beauty Shop in Blue Earth.  She was united in marriage to Philip Gieser on April 10, 1953 at Salem United Brethren Church in Fairmont.  In her free time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Gieser of Blue Earth; sons, John (Dianne) Gieser of Blue Earth and Alan (Wanda) Gieser of Blue Earth; daughter, Jean (Bill) Redman of Blue Earth; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sister in law Arlene Lockner of Portland Oregon.
