Marian Jeanette Graser, 100, Mankato, formerly of Brooklyn Center, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Brookdale Assisted Living.  Interment will be held at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. Many people knew her as Jeanette or Nette.

Marian was born August 31, 1919 to Stanley and Mary (Blackwood) Bueghly in Minneapolis.  She graduated from North High School in Minneapolis.  Marian was united in marriage to Alfred John Graser on May 8, 1942 in Minneapolis.  Marian worked many jobs including homemaker, working at an ammunitions plant (TCAAP) in World War II, Munsingwear, Action Labs, Greyhound Bus, and she retired from Powers Department Store in downtown Minneapolis.  In her free time she loved to travel and took many trips with her husband and her sister, Shirley.  She loved to knit, crochet, cross – stitch, sew, paint, do yard work, and take part in her church activities. Marian also loved visits with her friends from VINE.  She was a founding member of the Brooklyn Center Baptist Church, which became Edinbrook Church.  She was a proud Republican and never missed voting.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Pam) Graser of Acworth, GA, Warren (Ann) Graser of Elkton, MD, and James (Nancy) Graser of Anoka, MN; daughter, Catherine (Russell) Dahl of Mankato, MN; grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Fischer, Thomas (Angela) Dahl, Karen Graser, Andy Graser, Heidi (Josh) Thulin, Darwin (Becca) Graser; great grandchildren, Ivy Thompson, Miles Thulin, Theodore Graser, and Sawyer Graser; nieces and nephews, Jeff Price, Joan Sather, Tim Price, Janice Hackert, Dennis Clinton, Sandy Clinton, Steve Clinton, Kaye Stephens, Kathleen Stearns, Daydre Phillips, David Begly, Dale Bueghly, Jeanene Bueghly - many great nieces and nephews.

Marian is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Theodore Bueghly, Roger Bueghly, Linden Eugene Bueghly, and a sister, Shirley Elaine Price.

Nicole & Mark Fischer and Thomas & Angela Dahl are honorary casketbearers.

As I've said before, Jeanette could always make me laugh yet always set a good example too. Truly one of my all-time favorite people and she will be dearly missed. May we be like her in our faith. Prayers for your comfort.

Was saddened to hear of Marian's passing but what a great life she lived. Always enjoyed our time at VINE in Respite with her. My sympathy to all her family. Hold in your hearts all the memories you have with her.
