Donna Mae Nunn, 93, passed away January 1, 2021 at Laurels Peak in Mankato, MN. There will be a private family service at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be left at woodlandhillsfn.com.
Donna was born to LeRoy and Pearl (Holman) Barrett on November 27, 1927 in Grey Eagle, MN. Donna graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1945. She worked as a bookkeeper/secretary at Grey Eagle Co-op. Donna married Marlyn (Buzz) Nunn on December 24, 1948 in Grey Eagle, MN. After moving to North Mankato in 1963 she worked as a bookkeeper/secretary at Matt J Graifs for 40 years. She is a faithful member of Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church in North Mankato, the United Methodist Women and Ester Circle. She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and playing scrabble. She belonged to a bowling team and a card club for many years. Donna especially enjoyed being with family.
Donna is survived by three children; Tom (Kathy) Nunn of Littleton, CO, Debbie (Jim) Roy of Mankato, MN and Randy (Cindy) Nunn of Rapidan, MN. Five grandchildren; Meghan (Greg) Griego of Littleton, Co, Emily (Bob) Krause of Estherville, Iowa, Joshua (Megan) Roy of Minnetonka, MN, Laura Nunn of Mapleton, MN and Jesse Nunn of Rapidan, MN. Six great
grandchildren; Brooklyn, Mia, Nolan, Dante, Silas and Clara. Sisters in law; Jone and Connie along with cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by husband Marlyn (Buzz) Nunn 1997, parent’s and Buzz’s parents. Granddaughter Meredith 2011, great granddaughter Abby 2006, two brothers, one sister, five bothers in law and six sisters in law.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church Music programs or donor’s choice.
