Lillian Grace Urban, 97, was called home on March 6, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Mankato, MN. A memorial service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Amboy on April 7, 2018 at 2:00 with a visitation for two hours prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery in Amboy.

She was born on October 27, 1920 in Garden City, MN to Clariss (Wrightson) and Julius Henry Fredrick Miller. On March 17, 1943, she was joined in marriage to Edmond C. Urban at the Clarence Schwarz farm near Amboy. They lived in Amboy, Garden City and Lake Crystal before moving back to Amboy. She was a resident of the Mapleton Community Home at the time of her death.

Lillian was a stay at home mom, most of her life, raising six children. Spending time with her family on camping trips, holidays and special occasions brought joy to her life. She enjoyed baking and baked for some local businesses for a few years. Sewing, gardening, biking and visiting with friends were favorite pastimes.

Survived by five daughters and one son: Ronda Hunt of Willmar and children Tamara (David) Knapper, Steven (Christine) Hunt, Douglas (Karen) Hunt; Diane (Ronnie) Kruggel of Good Thunder and children Jamie (Mike) Frank, Jason Kruggel, Jesse (Tory) Kruggel, Jon Kruggel, Jodi (Mitchell) Froehlich; Judy (David) Zenk of Lewisville and daughter Heather Zenk; Brenda (Rod) Urban of Amboy, and children Michael (Megan) Urban, Michelle (Matthew) Granos, Mitchell (Megan) Urban, Mark (Rhianna) Urban, Amanda (Jason) Keppler; Vickie (special friend Robert Anderson) Hollerich of Good Thunder and children Todd (Tasha) Hollerich, Matthew (Tina) Hollerich, Chadd (Nicole) Hollerich; Jeff (Barb) Urban of Amboy and children Shannon Urban, Sarah Urban, Serena (Greg) Skawinski, Spencer Urban; twenty-six great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Rademacher and brother, Dennis (Linda) Miller.

Preceded in death by her husband in 1991; grandson, Joel Zenk in 2017; son-in-law, Fred Hunt in 2015; sibling: Elvin, Freddie, Hank, Allen, Marjorie, Ruby Edwards.
